Same here. "Killed" was not a phrase used very often for flounder fishing back in 1960's - 1990's.

Go out on the Paramount in June or July. You should get 2 17" plus flounder among the ling and other stuff.

Curious. Flounder have VERY tiny mouths.

How do they fit a ling hook in their mouths?

Years ago on more than one I've had flounder inhale whole sand worms on a 5/0 baitholder hook while drifting for bass in the rips around Romer Light
