Top of the tide is usually best in the early spring surf fishing for the Bay Shore area.

Only Alabama fishermen come in with the "Tide". Communist fishermen come in with the "Red" tide.

Shorts were caught with bloodworms in Delaware bay this week. A netter got shad, herring, white perch and bunker. I saw a gull eating a bunker and a hawk eating a gull on the bayshore.

Yep. flood tide is always best this time of year. Water temp should increase by the end of the week too. Nice early season bite will be on.

While some are being caught I completely skunked out on Saturday.

Fished from Forked River to South Amboy with no love.

This weekend though should be different.
