looks like a miniature golden tile, so I'll go along with the "sand tilefish" theory.

Sand tile and slippery dicks are the same fish. This is the juvenile color form for the puddingewife wrasse, adults look totally different, I'll post one of them soon. The name always reminds me of a certain charter captain.
