BTW we will/were supposed to be on an offshore sea bass trip that day (6pack). Does not sound like mother nature will cooperate.

Hello everyone, Capt. Scott here. I know we're definitely fishing tomorrow, Christmas day. I know Capt. Hal on the Sea Tiger is lighting up also. And Capt. Dave Paris out of Sheapshead Bay is fishing Christmas day also. A lot of you guys on here know James Kim, he fishes on a lot of the party boats for bottom fish. I was speaking with him on the phone today and he's coming down with a group of 11 to fish on the Prowler5. We were talking about the time he fished with us Christmas Day in either 2011 or 2012 and he boated one of the biggest tog we ever boated. It was something like 13-14 lbs. We're fishing from 7:30 to 1:30 and when I get in I still do all the Christmas stuff with the wife's family LOL. Actually the wife tells me to go fishing - get out of the house for a few hours. Anyway, Merry Christmas to everyone and P.S. On a sad note, I just found out that Capt. Jack Sweeny, formerly of the Barbgal charter boat out of Atlantic Highlands passed away yesterday. He was a big burly guy with that thick big beard and I always liked to go have a pop with him at the Harborside when we got in from our night trips. RIP Capt. Jack

Yes indeed!!! And desperate sounds like the description of a guy sitting around rowdy kids just wishing he were fishing.
