![]() I've had plenty of bad fishing when the moon wasn't full, so no I don't pay it no mind. If I thought about all the reasons not to go (yard work, house work, job, wife, etc. etc.) I'd never leave the house.

![]() Saltwater or freshwater. All the old timers swear fishing is tougher during a full moon. It seems to effect freshwater fishing a lot more.
I never caught much during a full moon hard runnning tide. It's like a jinx you wish would go away the day you are out there. Kind of hard to feel a 2lb. fluke dragging a 10-12oz. sinker at 3 knots or more. Old proverb: When the moon is high, fishings nigh. There is some truth to that. |

![]() Wasn't in Jersey but fluking was excellent yesterday in Long Island. I was using 1.5 ounces in 80 feet. All depends on the conditions

![]() My dad and I had our best day of fishing of the yesterday and between the two of us we got 8 keepers in about 2 hours. All fish were caught on the outgoing tide before the southeast wind turned on. I guess luck was on our side yesterday.
