Wow, learned something new... I had no idea manatees woud range this far north, but they have been found as far north as massachusetts in the past.
.. Read they can't survive long in water less than 60 degrees, so I imagine they don't stick around long.. The aren't fast swimmers, and florida is a long way down... bob

There was a manatee at my marina in point pleasant at the head of the bay a few years ago. Saw it several times. It made the paper
