![]() Spruce is tough. With the lack of obvious visible structure, its hard to know where to start unlike other lakes with stumps or timber. I guess most of the "hot spots" are underwater in the form of drop offs, weed edges and channel beds. Well done finding them.

![]() You are right. I moved to about three different areas. There are random branches etc sticking out in the back of the lake that hold a few. But paying careful attention to your fish finder is important. Hit a really good spot in four feet of water with some disturbances underwater that looked like snaggy. Also the rocky shorelines that drop off had them also.
You need to move, and I always pick off a big fish in general as a loner. |

![]() Thanks for the info. I found about 10 of the spots yesterday and beat the cap out of the crapies. They were thick in some spots. The only thing that slowed down the bite was my anchor coming untied. Lots of nice 2 lbers. Gotta get the go pro, cell phone selfies are tough in the wind. |
