They probably close the parks at dusk cause things like drug dealing go on there after dark. They should of just passed a law that says no drug dealing in the park after dark and let the rest of us have a little freedom.

After not catching any carp in 10 consecutive day trips, I caught 52 carp at night. Tonight will probably be my last carp trip until the spring. Then I won't do anymore night carping until next year's Eastern Standard time begins. A few years ago when I quit fishing at sunset, it took me 2 hours to drive home because of rush hour gridlock. After a night carping session, it only takes 20 minutes.

Years ago, I used to fish in the little creek by the bridge on George Davidson road...before they drained the lake above the dam. I used to catch a fair quantity of nice catfish which my polish grandparents like to eat.

Several times a year during the summer there was this on Plainsboro cop who used to stop and chat to see how I was doing. He never mentioned anything about not fishing at night. This was not and is not a park.
