Love this site...and can't go an hour without looking at it! Fished with some great captains and met a bunch of guys that love to fish as much as I do!!! Gerry...thanks a lot!!!!

Njfishing.com has come along way! As some of you may know I was in time out for awhile
 but I thank Gerry for giving me a 2nd Chance. Through the site I met some good peeps who enjoy the sport of Fishing.Rockfish smartie Out

Great memories. My first visit was when I was in my last year college when the site first started probably in 1998. Back then Gerry it was you and stripersurf.com, as well as the Nautical Net and WMI, followed by sites like SOL and the others that will remain nameless
I'm one that misses the "old" format but also love how much this site has grown in 16 years (time flies!) A few long-gone Early memories: Just Got Back reports from Bill M The "Rocket" stories with Dan D (LMAO!!) The SOL-CEO/NJF Fluke-off's on the sea Hunter led by LAB and HCW I became a sponsor in 04' or 05', and this site has been GREAT for my business. There have been times where we all haven't seen eye to eye with things, but as is the case with most anglers, yep, we're crazy, but stuff blows over and we make up real quick ...Nice post Gerry!

Great post! I remember accidentally stumbling onto the site in 1998, when I was trying to Google advice for dealing with a stuck steering cable on my old boat.
Never looked back after that, this board has led to many friendships and great fishing memories.
