In Maine Glass Eel harvesters made $10,000 to $20,000 a day last year but there was only a limit number of permits were made available. They probably figured lets go the wide open wilderness of NJ (where it is illegal), there will be less competition……lol.

Read something else that these are picked up as young then sent to Japan to be farm raised... Then eaten..
