My advice is to call and email them to let them know that you are unhappy with the changes. When they get it from multiple customers, it usually gets attention.

No doubt that Gulp! has been an incredible product. Whatever the problem is, I am sure they will resolve it, once they are made aware.
Thanks for tha advice, i just emailed them and will let every one know what they say.

Great topic. I've noticed the same problem on my end. I am going thru the new Gulp like crazy. It's a great bait this time of year. Many limits but it is different. Above comments are correct in that it is softer. And it's not bluefish bites. They are Fluke bites. Hell, I've had a number of fish bite the tails off on the 6 inch mullet. I thought it was strange but after seeing this thread, I realize I am not alone. Anyway, I will contact Gulp and express my opinion. Thanks all for sharing your views.

There you go. I heard this very same complaint a few years back. Would hear how hard it was to get off the hook and how people would hook themselves trying. No matter how hard a company ties, they cant keep everyone happy.

Me....... I like the old stuff better, myself. But I see both sides and can appreciate both sides of the argument.

I have a new jar and it's been solid. Maybe it's the packet baits that are too soft.

I emailed them about why they don't offer the 6" Grubs in the ovals ... took about 4 days to get a reply ... they said would pass on my suggestion to product managers ...
