I wrote to F&G and asked them to stock walleye in the Raritan. They said NO, it will effect the shad run, well.............. I got walleye in Raritan, saw walleye in Manville, got them in South Bound Brook and heard first hand reports of walleye in the Raritan in Bound Brook.

Soooooooooooooooo Stock smallmouth then, stock something, anything, heck 15,000 brown trout are wasted every year on the Muddysquan, why not dump them in the Raritan ???

I will continue to write letters, they can't ignore me forever.

No they are not stocked, and I have no clue where they might come from. Im pretty sure they stocked the canal with them at 1 point in time. I was throwing big jointed bombers for Stripers when this Eye got hooked. Eyes like jointed bombers, use them all the time on LH, Swartswood, Big D and Skunksville!!!
