Success for me has been in the mid to late fall there. Question: What is the current water level: Full pool, half pool, or way down? |

![]() Hopefully this hot weather hasn't shut everything down everywhere. Plan on trying a new lake tommorow, got word it's loaded with bass. Hoping for some topwater action before it gets Death Valley hot out there

![]() Question: What is the current water level: Full pool, half pool, or way down?[/QUOTE]
It's at 96% .....It was at 99.9 on the 14th but they had a couple big release days lately. Note says it's a pipe inspection rlease. Had a big release at RV too. Here is a nice easy website to check the levels and rainfall stats and the flow rates at some local spots. http://www.njwsa.org/Data.htm |

Its the hybrid stripers trying to (what I assume) is trying to stun the bait with their tail or they crash the water and make a big slap noise. It's definately them though as I've heard and seen them doing the same exact thing at night before. I will say that I've seen carp doing the big splash/tail slap thing during spawn but only usually during the morning hours. |
