Nighttime spruce run reports?

Hopefully this hot weather hasn't shut everything down everywhere. Plan on trying a new lake tommorow, got word it's loaded with bass. Hoping for some topwater action before it gets Death Valley hot out there .

Weatherman says Death Valley next day or so....

Get there early or late and bring lots of water and sun screen

It's at 96% .....It was at 99.9 on the 14th but they had a couple big release days lately. Note says it's a pipe inspection rlease. Had a big release at RV too. Here is a nice easy website to check the levels and rainfall stats and the flow rates at some local spots.

Thanks for the link and looks like full pool. Actually like when the lake is WAY down and ya gotta launch to the right of the ramps...well IT is what it is. Looking to go there in a month or so from then on...

Its the hybrid stripers trying to (what I assume) is trying to stun the bait with their tail or they crash the water and make a big slap noise. It's definately them though as I've heard and seen them doing the same exact thing at night before.

I will say that I've seen carp doing the big splash/tail slap thing during spawn but only usually during the morning hours.
