![]() White-stripers. You caught a lot of them. I tried for them back in October with my 2wt & did hook one, but the highlight was saving a big one from a water snake. I saw the fish spook, scoot under a ledge, and then the snake emerge from under there with the 10-inch brookie's tail in its mouth! I went in up above my waist, finally got a grab on the snake, and when it dropped the brookie, it went, open-mouthed, for my other arm. If I had dropped it a split-second later, it would have got me.
