Maybe, but with how smaller in area the raceways are to a whole boardwalk , they might just build the rooftops. Those would work 24/7 while a hawk is probably not a 100% reliable service.

Funny how the State of NJ hired a Pathologist then suddenly there was a major disease outbreak at the hatchery. I'm not drinking the kool-aid, sorry. I feel it was more of a ploy to get federal $$$$ to do improvements to the hatchery etc. It's all about the money when you get the top. Why did Pennsy say yeah, we'll take your 250,000 diseased Brook Trout, hmmmmmmm.

Cause Pennsy saw the opportunity to save money by taking NJ Brook Trout vs. raising their own at their own cost. It is after all, all about the money.

Just release a few mountain lions by the hatchery. Itll also help decrease the wand waving orgy that occurs at the outflow mid winter lol
