my coworker cooks them then freezes. I dry on a paper towel, place in the vaccum bag but to do not vvaccuum seal it rather i place them in the freezer for 4-6hrs to firm them up bring them out then seal em up lasts 8-12months is it as good as fresh no but no fish is after its frozen but t certainly is not bad & people who aren't me & have picky appetites have had no complaints eating fried ling fingers or bruschetta baked ling from frozen fish
