![]() Those are very odd markings for a pure bred pike!.. Looks to me like a Pike/Pickerel hybrid.. they are not an everyday catch, but are pretty common where both species co exist.. Pike spots are generally much more uniform.. that fish you are holding looks like a world record monster pickerel, with some pike like markings mixed in.. I could be wrong of course, but I say its a hybrid.. They get quite large... Here are some pictures of pure strain pike from Pa just to compare.. bob
