Sorry you lost your fishing buddy. I lost a close fishing friend who I shared a boat with. Funny Pharm, Atlantic Highlands. Fishing hasn't been the same. Hopefully I make another connection soon.
Since I moved to Toms River I have gotten involved with the Jersey Coast Anglers Association. I have met many strongly involved fishermen who are 100% NON PAID volunteers. They put their best foot forward attending all the government and state fishing council meetings where they voice opinions. I strongly recommend you donate to this organization. "All" the donated money will go to benefit N.J. fisherman. Not to salaried officers and individuals that other organizations pay.
