don't worry dude, justin and i went the other day and didn't see a single sign of life haha. I, personally hate shore fishing, I'm done with it after about 10 minutes...I just start wishing i brought a boat haha.

nice job Tom, next time leave some there for me!

Haha......it's tough fishing from land when you're accustomed to a boat for sure. Specially in an area with limited access points.

Left them all there for you guys, everything released. Going to keep trying throughout the winter to see if I can figure out a pattern but more than anything else bait movement I would guess plays a role especially from shore. Lot of surface activity the days I hit them, almost none the days I didn't. I've been there five times now, hit fish three and skunked twice meaning no follows or hits. Both those days condition wise I thought I'd do well but I thought wrong. Every bad trip brings you closer to a good one and as others have said even with bad trips there's something to learn. Based on how many of those I've had, I should have Einstein's IQ by now!

Lightbulb Re: LL Salmon

Stocked salmon going into the smoker is no different than stocked trout going into the smoker.

No need to keep freshwater fish. let them swim and have others catch them.

Ehhh, if it's legal it's legal. Trout and LL will continue to be stocked. Releasing trophy sized fish I can agree with but smoked samenz are tasty AF.
