Yikes! Sorry folks I feel kind of bad now (especially as a new member), I didn't realize it would stir the pot regarding the flatheads.

Bob Marley wasnt wrong when he said stir it up.

Flatheads are there. Target them. They're fun. Dont pay attention to the banter. Keep the kiddos on the hook. That's what's important.

They should debate flatheads on a diff thread. Not on a feel-good post about you getting your kids into fishing. Shame on them for even going that route.

Jigman I congratulated CMA and his kids on a great trip and awesome catch. Andy took it upon himself to degrade my post and in doing so degraded the spirit of CMA's initial post. That's why I responded as I did. I've had several pm's with Andy but if he chooses to call me out on the site especially with misinformation regarding shad or anything else, I'm going to reply. I agree the flathead debate should have been a pm or separate thread but unfortunately that's not what happened.
