I have matts fish at 36 3/8". Little finger on fin helped. Eddy I have yours at 36. Looks like its 1/4 short at the start of the tape and goes 1/4 past 36 making it 36" in my opinion.
Both beautiful fish!

When the entry fishes mouth is open the measurement is taken from the upper lip/jaw of the fish! Thanx for looking in on the thread guys! Sure is getting interesting! Gona go to the Millstone river tomorrow and pull out a 40+, LOL!!!

I had the fish bumped against my sled and as soon as I tried to take the pic she flopped! I rolled with my fish slid the tape over and just got the best pic I could! Fish full of eggs had to get sent back to the depths ASAP!

So I have to spend $80 on a bumper board and carry the 5' long board to every flag I get? Doesn't sound like a good idea to me. It's a pain to get them to sit still just trying to get a pic next to a tape measure. Getting them to stay still on a bumper board would be even harder.
