My dad rarely fished but did take me out of Fortescue a couple of times maybe in the late 50's or early 60's. Remember the Bonanza I believe and a Debby Ann I think. He was a Sun Oil employee and one of those captains had a tie in some how with Sun. He passed away in 1976 at age 56 .......wished I could have fished more with him! Sadly, Fortescue fishing is not what it used to be since the weakies became scarce. I think I only fished there once more and I'm now 67! Still they say you always remember your first
