Late Dec trip from NJ that has excellent freshwater fishing

Looking for ideas where I can take my 13 yr old son during Xmas break for a 4-5 day getaway from NJ that has a decent vacation experience and one of the days can be freshwater fishing that has excellent seasonal opportunities. For eg, I can take him Universal Studios in Orlando which has awesome largemouth bass fishing for a day. My son is an avid fisherman since age 5 being on boats in the fresh and saltwater.

However it does not have to be a wam weather place with an amusement park…it could be a “snow” place with snowmobiles and sledding (he doesn’t ski) that has really good trout fishing.

Ant fishing would be through a charter/guide service.
