Went fishing 🎣 in 60.7 degrees Dam Site 21 this evening on a cool, sunny day with a strong south wind. Too many fishermen were there again but I beat one to my spot. Threw out Walmart canned whole kernel corn 🌽 for chum, then caught nothing while ultralight jigging again. Landed 2 9 lb 14 oz and a 1 lb 12 oz common carp, a 13” brown bullhead and a redeared slider with corn 🌽 bait. On my last cast of the day, when I lifted my rod to reel in and leave, the small carp was on the end of my line. Some carp bites are not detectable. While walking back to my car 🚗, I made a video of the Canadian Canada geese. I caught 70 carp and 91 turtles 🐢 this year.
