Fishing improved after the recent rain and increased water temps. Fish are still staging but enough moved in to make it interesting. Ended with 8 crappy, all over 2 lbs., keeping the two smallest for dinner. A few bass, pickerel and the biggest sunny I've ever caught. Ended up being a gorgeous day on the water, should continue improving over the next few weeks as waters warm. Love Mike's shirt, pretty cool. Everything was caught on a jig and bobber, 1/16 oz. jig head, 4lb test fluoro and anywhere from a 2-3 ft. leader.

Went this past Friday and not one crappy. Not even a hit on the jig and bobber or small crank baits. A few largemouth which weren't the target species but very slow day overall. Windy and cold. The weather this week will pause or alter the spawn. Looks like a week of crap weather before we see a warming trend.
