Default FISHERMEN/TOUGH BITE TODAY, SUNDAY

FISHERMEN/TOUGH BITE TODAY, SUNDAY

Sailed with a whole bunch of customers who have been out several times the past couple of weeks and some new ones who have been watching the reports.

The bite was nothing like it has been, we picked a couple fish each drop with never any more than 3 on one spot. Chriss Zotti had the hot hand landing 7 fish and taking the pool. I don't blame the traffic, which was unreal but the lack of bait every where we fished. If you saw the fish finder on my video from yesterday, today was nothing like that.

Covered all the area's we've been catching and then some waiting for it to turn on, just didn't happen. Thank you Paula for the thought full Birthday gift, I'll let you know how I make out and June for the awesome custom made rug, I'll post a picture, it's awesome.

Sailing 7:00am everyday. No Reservations. First boat out, First boat on the meat. Fare is $90, Rod Rentals $20. Jigs & Tackle for sale aboard.

See you in the AM,
Capt. Ron

Someone told the truth about today's catching.
That's fishing. But tomorrow's another day

Thanks Captain

Saw a lot of bass and bait well offshore south of Manasquan while porgy and sea bass fishing. Maybe the lighter winds sent them wandering a bit.

Maybe the fish we've been seeing this past month are from the Hudson stock and in the back bay feeding up getting ready to make their run. If the Chesapeake stock is in as much trouble as it appears, it's possible points south of NJ won't have the kind of fishing NJ has had this past month. Have no idea if that's the case but would certainly make sense.
