PROWLER5 FISHING REPORT SUN, OCT 27, 2024. Hey Gang,It was an excellent day on the striped bass grounds. Left the dock with a little breeze out of the NNW which quickly laid down and made for a nice flat calm day. We started fairly close to the fleet picking away on some rather large bass on jigs and shads. When the action slowed we took a little ride and settled in on a patch of fish until it was time to go home. The fishing was lights out with at least 3-6 anglers hooked up at a time for several hours. To top it off majority of the fish were personal bests for many onboard. Prowler regular Russel landed the pool fish with a scaled out 32.5 lb striped bass which was safely released.
Over 200 bass were netted and released today!
We are sailing every day for Striped Bass 730AM - 230PM. Rods and jigs available onboard. See you in the AM, Capt. Jack
