Unhappy Trout Unlimted:

Ray Neirle South Jersey Chapter of Trout Unlimited and The Ken Lockwood chapter seem to have dissolved. I think the Rahway River chapter of Trout Unlimited dissolved also unfortunately.

The problem with all these groups is they go in a strait line. No one from any of these "groups" like TU look to see what everyone else is doing, they hardly even look to see what the other chapters are doing. I saw a lot of this when I started doing river clean ups and looked to see what all the "environmental" groups were doing, yup, moving in a strait line.
I went around as a guest speaker to many of these groups and that was part of our discussions, don't move in a strait line but to look around and see what everyone else was doing, it was tough needless to say. You have F&G moving in a strait line, the Federation moving in a strait line, TU moving in a strait line and environmental groups moving in a strait line.
I asked some Federation people if they had ever been to a TU meeting and visa versa, the answers were always the same, no. Yet we all strive for the same outcome ultimately.
