Columbus Day fishing 🎣
youtube.com/shorts/fcDqeCTOCd4 Went carping in 62 degrees Carnegie Lake this evening, Columbus Day. Weather was sunny and cold 🥶 with a strong west wind small craft advisory. It was very crowded because of the holiday. While putting on my boots, I saw a lot of fishermen go to the lake. I thought that I wouldn’t be able to fish 🎣 in my spot again. Miraculously, no one was in my spot but corn 🌽 was there. Evidently a copycat was there then left before I arrived. I threw out corn 🌽 for chum, then caught 13 white perch, 9 largemouth bass, 3 black crappies, and a bluegill with a 1/32 oz twister tail jig on 2 lb test line and a common carp with canned, whole kernel corn 🌽 bait. While reeling in the carp, the world’s best photographer and videographer arrived from Staten Island, NY, then took pictures and made videos. youtube.com/shorts/-bIvZevCuOQ
