Re: rehabbing some a 47's and other 4 -6 oz diamond jigs
How exactly does a diamond jig fail?

OK , fair question, diamond jigs split ring opened, one was a little rusted and didn't inspect before using in the middle of a bird play, hope that answers ur question so any suggestions on sizes? thx for ur response

Re: rehabbing some a 47's and other 4 -6 oz diamond jigs
No split rings , take them off .
Tie directly to top wire of jig . Use an open eye siwash hook for the bottom . Since using for stripers use a Gami open eye in 8/0 Will get way better hook ups than the normal 4-5/0
