Im always impressed that you go on those boat trips knowing the inevitable.....Most ppl with that problem would avoid them, or keep experimenting w motion sickness stuff till they get it right.....are you experimenting??

i never had to worry about freshwater, except twice; once where i ate greasy fajitas just before on washing machine Hopatcong early summer, and once on a very windy day on a big lake in NY where Nick's boat nearly sunk lol. But that 2nd time i popped a Dramamine and i felt fine.

This time I knew i had to prepare for the ocean, so i took dramamine the night before, the morning, and ate what the guys told me to eat for a good breakfast. It just wasnt enough!

I think that was my final try at saltwater, at least for a while Chris recommended those subscription ear patches.
I have a history of motion sickness in cars too but have been fine for a long time. Those boats on the ocean just wreck me!

Nice catching ! I am truly convinced that seasickness comes from a deep rooted fear of the water.
