Default Ramapo river all nighter

After an unproductive shoreline Striper session at the Bayshore turned and burned and met a friend at first light on the river. Started about 1/4 mile up from a stocking point but it was dead. Worked down to an area between two points and started catching. Despite good conditions as far as clarity and flow the bite was lethargic and we lost more than we caught. Just wanted to put it out there the PO is alive and well.

Good to know might give it a try this week. My local River, the Passaic, was lights out during the catch and release period but has slowed down since. Kept a few this week, and they all had rocks in their stomachs...so they must be hungry! I have also had several unproductive trips to the Bayshore...the cops just busted somebody with trash bags full of short stripers so they are around but can be frustrating to find.
