Good day fishing LL's with Ryan and Mike

Son Ryan and good friend Mike never tried the landlocked salmon fishery NJF&G is doing a great job developing in the state. Decided to give it a shot recently. Definitely starting to understand the feeding patterns of these fish. Nothing real large but absolutely gorgeous fish. Both guys popped their LL cherries and had an awesome day. Enjoy the pics.

Hey it looks like you guys had a bunch of fun fishing for those fish and they are nice ones as well. glad to hear that you got those guys on the fish well done. congrats to them on the first ones.

Alex it's a unique fishery and yes a lot of fun. Like every fishery there's a time and place and a definite pattern. Pound for pound very scrappy fish that on the right tackle gives a great fight.

State deserves a lot of credit developing this fishery. Let the smaller fish go and allow them to grow over 20 inches and we'll have one hell of a trophy landlocked salmon fishery in the state. Won't be long before the current state record is broken.
