Fall Fishing
Had off from work on Thursday so I figured I would hit one of my favorite rivers looking for some of the fall stocked trout. I haven't fished for trout in a while but with the temps back down I figured it was go time! The river was still low but not horrible. I found a few holes that had a bunch of fall stockers in them but I could not get them to eat no matter which fly I threw. I think they have been getting pretty pounded by the look of all the boot prints on the banks. I decided to get away from the stocked areas and see what was biting. I got to one of my favorite spots and was greeted by a bunch of hungry, aggressive browns. So much better then stocked fish!
Here are a few photos from the day. |

Re: Fall Fishing
Extra good feeling when things work out that way. The leaves were a real pain in the A$$ but the browns made it worth it!

Re: Fall Fishing
Great looking Browns man! There’s no heartier fish than those tough guys. They survive low water, high water and always find a way to survive. Well done!
