Default Pathetic NJ

Decided to make the trek north today for some of the Raritan rivers residents and boy was I disappointed. I never realized how many access points would be closed and the trout that they stocked where finless turds compared to last year's. Needless to say I'll be staying down south for a while.I guess we have become a nanny state.

yes the park closures are a shame, a lot of these parks to begin with were already fine in regards to quantity of people. They could have done it park by park and close the ones that actually had problems.

Next time you do come up shoot me a message and I can let you know what's open up still.

NJ isn't Pathetic its people are. Parks were closed because of the so called nature hikers, who can carry that hot beverage for miles full. As soon as its empty down on the ground it goes.
I'm a dog walker, if Kase goes it gets carried out as the sign states. I didn't attempt to count the poop bags in Wawayanda SP last weeks before the closure or would I pick them up with this disease around. It isn't us outdoorsmen that will get the WMA's closed next.

Agreed, as much as I love the state I grew up in, there is a large part of the population that is a bunch of frikin scum bags. Unfortunately their bad habits ruin it for the majority of us. Anyone that spends time outside in public parks ect. Can see most people, don't give a shit. It's a few that ruin it for the rest.

Good idea, stay down south and hit the beach for stripers.

OH, WAIT...

Sorry Craig it's a little different down here, beaches and bays are open, and yes the striper bite has been phenomenal I was just looking for a change of pace.
