Default first walleye of 2019 for the icebadger

i fished brady bridge this weekend. sat after i was at the pequest open house for the knee deep club, i fished with bunker dunker and his brother. started out with the jig-n-bobber for crappies and got 8 of them ranging from 7" to 11" then when it got dark i switched to the smithwick rattlin rogue stickbait and had one on for a short fight only to have it come off before i could get a look at it. then went back sunday at 6:45pm again started out with the jig-n-bobber and got 11 crappies and one rock bass.after it got dark i went to the stickbait and 5 casts later whamo i get a small 15" walleye it hit right at the shoreline as i worked it slowly back in. tried for a little while longer with no luck and called it a wrap and went home. i cant wait until the nite bite gets going better. love that topwater at nite stuff..

I'm kind of surprised you aren't targeting some of the 9000 trout stocked in there.

i do not fish for concrete critters.. i fished in colorado on the roaring fork and the frying pan rivers in aspen when i lived out there with my brother and also fished for trout in vt so jersey trout are not for me. i got tired of arguing with other anglers just to catch small fish that are tossed of bridges. besides the trout that were stocked in the cong are devoured by muskys and the cormorants. you posted pics of the birds on a dam that is pretty much what happens to those fish in the cong
