IMPORTANT ALERT There is an important Sea Bass meeting Thursday in Galloway N.J. that could impact another closure for us in June. As of now, we have overfished our Sea Bass quota. They want to open the Season in February for a few boats. If they open the Sea Bass season in February, it will effect June's quota and we will lose days in June. In the past two years, we have lost over two weeks of our spring fishing season. WE CAN NOT AFFORD TO LOSE ANY MORE OF OUR SPRING/SUMMER FISHING SEASON, SINCE THIS IS WHEN MOST OF US ARE FISHING. NOT FEBRUARY! I encourage all of you private boaters and small charter boats to attend this meeting and voice your opinion. LETS BE FAIR AND HONEST ABOUT THIS, THERE ARE MORE PEOPLE FISHING IN THE SPRING/SUMMER THAN THERE ARE IN FEBRUARY!
