Before they added the track around the lake in the mid 90's the lake had everything you can think of. There were pipes that drained into the lake during high tide and emptied back out during low tide. Lake was kinda tidal in a way. Had huge carp, eels, blue claw crabs. I can't remember the last time i saw crabs in the lake or huge carps. You do see the koi that the asians from the apartments dump in the lake when they get to big.
