Teetertown post storm
I hit teetertown pond after work today. Rolled in right at 7, just after a strong thunderstorm, and got the dock spot. I threw an roostertail spinner and got a dink bass on the second cast, it was on! The bite was hot for an hour and a half. I caught 1 on that spinner, switched over to a white strike king spinnerbait and caught 4 more, it was a blast. After about an hour a thin layer of fog spilled out of the woods and over the pond, and with the weeds growing up to the surface in a few spots I thought it'd be a good time to throw a topwater bait. This was my first time ever going for a topwater bite but boy was it good! I threw a dark green and yellow jitterbug, landed at least 5 more decent bass and lost the same amount. Thankful i got some time to fish, I've been way too busy lately.

Re: Teetertown post storm
Thanks! If you ever get the chance you should check this place out, I haven't caught any monsters out of there but I've heard of other people catching some big ones. I always catch high numbers though!

Re: Teetertown post storm
Place will be gutted in a yr by the bucket brigade. Be cautious when posting locations otherwise your honey hole will be fresh out of honey in no time. Just a heads up.

Re: Teetertown post storm
Thanks for the heads up, but this pond is a designated catch and release pond for bass. The trout stocked by the state have already been cleaned out by the bucket brigade, but all bass have to be returned to the water. The only time I've ever been asked to show my license was at this pond, so I'm not too worried about it. I went back last night and didn't get even a nibble, but it may have had something to do with the two giant snapping turtles fighting in the middle of the pond! Pretty crazy sight.
