cinco de mayo carp pic
After getting stopped and checked by police at Duck Island 3 times in the past 2 months on fishing trips there, I started fishing in Carnegie Lake. On my last trip there just as I was leaving, the police sergeant who gave me 3 verbal warnings for fishing at night there came all of the way over to my spot and asked to see my fishing license even though I am 70 years old and do not need a fishing license. When I returned the next day, an intruder was in my spot so I fished in the Millstone River. I caught 4 carp there to 28 lbs but a 12 year old psychopath came over to my new spot and harassed me for 2 days. I caught carp on 6 of the past 7 days at the Carnegie/Millstone. The 12 fish weighed 139.5 lbs. It looks like police, intruders and a psycho are going to end my Carnegie/Millstone carp catching now.

Re: cinco de mayo carp pic
Sounds like tough fishing, but nice huuuge carp. I hope you find peace out there for once!

Hah! I think I know the 12 year old psychopath you're referencing! Makes it difficult to enjoy a nice quiet fishing session.
Have you ever tried Curlis or Rosedale for carp? |

Re: cinco de mayo carp pic
No, I only fish a few spots. I caught a few spawned out carp recently and will probably stop catching them soon. I landed an 8 and 12 lber yesterday in the lake.
