Default Looping a small jig or hook

I noticed guys having trouble with this. I came up with this solution last year though I'm sure it's not original.

Put a thin piece of braid through the jig eye

Put the braid through the loop

Bring the braid back through eye

Pull loop through eye

Great tip. Just saw it and wish I would have seen it sooner. It would have saved me several hours fishing this season.

Great tip, I think I am going to expand on that by preloading the braid on the jigs for the day with a simple loop through and twisting the two open ends back around the loop a few times. See what happens

Nice tip! I actually figured it out a few season ago, but it look about 30 years for the light to go on I have since taken to carrying a bobbin threader in my jig box.. which is an inexpensive tool often used by fly/jig tyers..

I got one out of my wives sewing stuff but how do you get a loop through? All you can do is pull a single strand through.

Sorry to leave out an important detail.. I snip the wire close to the bead on one side of the threader.. works the same as the braid.. just easier for me to handle...
