The first time ive seen them in action I was in awe- every time one dived down it had a fish in its mouth when it came back up, ate it whole, then went down for more.
That's just how nature goes however.

On second thought this looks fun.

It seems like trout stocking have caused their over-population- and now they're hurting wild populations once they eat up all the stockies?

I've seen cormorants on your beloved Raritan River too, they'll just follow the stocking trucks to wherever.

Saw about 10 in Echo lake today. there have been none the entire spring. The truck must have come yesterday. They wiped out the entire stock last year. Only three fish were caught on opening day ...all were 16 " and up. Our stamp fee is feeding the dirty ducks. Not exceptable in my book. It's time the state does something.

What options are there other than hunting management? Other than massive musky stockings that eat the birds... although that'll hurt trout more i guess
