![]() Based on the coloration I would say thats what it is.. Pretty common , There are a bunch of similar species that years ago would just be called "Johnny Darters"... I used to use them for bait... bob

![]() this thread gave me some serious deja vu from about 3 weeks ago, except jigman is my 4 year old and my response was "bait' because i had no idea. theyre not very hardy when used for bait, in case anyone was wondering.

![]() Just went through my Peterson Field Guide to North American Freshwater Fishes. The double fin on top - Darter. The are no less than 12 illustrated pages of Darters in the book. Can't pinpoint the exact one.
