Default Round Valley Boat Rentals?

Hey All,

I was planning a trip with some friends to take on Round Valley sometime soon. Questions is, since I do not have a boat, where would I be able to go rent a boat for the day?

I cant find anything on Google about boat rentals near the reservoir.

I know that Spruce Run has a boat rental on-site along with Waywayanda.

Thanks for the help!

Nothing on rvr that I know of. Tough fishing there too. Consider spruce or Aeroflex if you don't want to camp out after.

No, thankfully there are no boat rentals at Round Valley.
With all the idiocy I've witnessed with those ghetto rental boats at Spruce Run, I think there would no doubt be a lot more fatal accidents at Round Valley if there was a boat rental concession.

Maybe there is a business opportunity there going untapped. A business on Rt. 22 could have rental boats out. When someone wants to rent a boat, the outfitter can meet the renter at the ramp and launch the boat. When the renter is finished, the boat owner could back over to the ramp with his trailer and pick up his boat.

Very True. I like that idea, Eskimo.

Unfortunately any place that rents out boats with gas powered engines should have a course prior to renting.

Are the boars really that bad at Spruce? I thought they were ok for an electric motor at Waywayanda, although next time I believe I will be bringing an extra battery so I don't have to row in when they one provided conchs out on me.

Haven't tried Aeroflex yet, but heard good things fishing. no boat rental there though, right?

Yes there is. Andover hunt and fish rents boats at Aeroflex boat ramp. Though idk if they have any electric powered ones or just paddle ones.
