Reel Class Monday 7/11 -- More Good Fluking
Had a full 6 man open boat fluke trip today.
Fished same areas as yesterday and had a good pick in the morning, followed by a very good pick between 11-12PM. Did some long drifts and picked 3-5 keepers for that period of time.
After 12:30 though, things SHUT DOWN. Bounced all over just found a few more shorts.
Wound up with about 50 fluke, 15 of which were keepers. Today most of them were 18"-20", with one nicer one going around 23" as our big fish of the day. No seabass or ling, only by-catch was one taylor blue and the usual trash.
Nice day - wish we could've stayed with them all day long!
