Default Pretty impressive rainfall...

Green Brook went from <1 cfs flow to over 1200 cfs in just over 2 hrs. Went up over 4 feet. Crazy! Cars are stuck on Rt 22 in 2/3 feet of water.

It took me 45 minutes to go from Berkeley Heights to Plainfield...3.7 miles.
Berk Hts. is disaster area. We go from drought to flood and back to drought in 6 hours

Weather sure is different than it used to be

I have them too, they don't help in gridlock traffic.
Later... about 7 PM the Green Brook flooded my condo complex.
Checked the USGS gage at Rock Ave. 8.3 feet, flood stage. That has only happened during hurricanes and 40 day rain storms.

That little Green Brook goes up even after a small rain. Poor drainage over there I guess. Sucks for the people that were stuck for hours. Some cool videos of the flooding on the web. Rahway river up the street from my house went up about 4 feet with the little storm. Gladly we didn't get the heavy stuff, lol!
