![]() What Fluke teaser hook are people using with 6" grubs. I've been using gami 6/0 bait holder, 6/0 Mustad 3407 O'Shaughnessy Hooks, and I picked up some Siwash hooks size 7/0 online, (i think the open end is way too big, but hook is long, sharp, and thick. Holds the 6" grub nice)
So far, if I had to pick, I think the Mustaad hooks work pretty good, and the price doesn't break the bank for a package of 50 or 100. Any other suggestions? Last edited by Chris1129; 07-27-2015 at 11:30 PM.. |

![]() I was referring to the top teaser hook for the gulp, not the stinger hook.

![]() 6/0 Gami bait-holder , I prefer due to barbs & added shank length .

![]() 8/0 bait holders. If you think that's to big. Your wrong
![]() A 15 inch fluke will inhale an 8/0 with 0 difficulty. And the point will come out lower on the six inch grub

![]() Have to agree with Steve. Started using an 8/0 few years back. Even the short fluke inhale them. Very easy to release too.

![]() Makes sense, and if they don't grab ahold of it, its probably was very short, keeping your presentation there for a keeper!
