SANDY HOOK surf

Spent the entire day at the hook, in the surf...a couple of misses but no fish on the beach...nice day after the rain stopped..enjoyable and that is why it is called FISHING, not catching!!! Next Saturday will try again....Fishing beach is open but closed at the north end....plovers again took over the hook...see 'ya all later

I was there as well. Caught 1 blue fish. About 14 inches. Lost one while setting up my second rod. But that was it.
