BOUNTY HUNTER - Striped Bass Report, 5/3
Capt. Paul ran the Bounty Hunter back up north with an Open Boat crew. On board we had long time supporters Bill,Chris,Ed, Joe & Doug along with newcomer 13 year old Trevor who was in search of his first Bass. It was a beautiful day weather wise but the fishing was slow for us. The Blues kept the boys busy for most of the day with only 2 Bass being boated by Noon. It was Trevor's turn for the next fish and as luck would have it the starboard rod goes off with a nice run and in the next several minutes we net a nice 37" Bass for the first Bass of his young career. A happy Kid went home. We finished with 3 Bass and kept a dozen Blues.
