Edison Fishing Derby

Hit the fishing derby in our hometown saturday , 33rd annual one in Edison at Lake Papaianni....no trout for us, but did see an absolute bruiser of a breeder rainbow caught while we we there...Kids derby from 8-9, Bubba ended up winning a gift card to Dick's for catching the first fish from a boy, and absolute MONSTER of a sunny


for that, he also got on local TV, lol...



He also grabbed an itty bitty bass,



but otherwise it was el-skunko for our crew, kids fished from 8-11:30, dads from 9-11:30...not a lot of action anywhere on the pond, but supposedly a bunch of stocked fish...lots of prizes for the kids, they were giving away lures to any kids who caught a fish,,,all in all a good time, even if not a lot of fish caught on our home water...
